Masterclass - Rhythm and Mouvement with Glove Puppets
mit David Faraco - Sofie Krog Teater (Denmark)
“Dive into the universe of glove puppet theatre with this three-hour masterclass. The idea is to have the most enriching experience possible by practicing two small scenes from the classic Don Cristobal.
For those already familiar with the glove puppets, I suggest working with a small scene from one of your own projects that you would like to review with me and discover keys for development. The maximum duration of your scene should be around 3 minutes. Please bring with you the glove puppets and any objects you intend to use in the scene. All scenes will be played out in the same booth, which can be easily adjusted for height. Obviously there are many layers to work on and I would like to try to touch on them all, since I believe puppeteers must be a complete creators. Even so, our goal is to practice the two classic scenes, since you cannot be at the forefront of glove puppet theatre if you do not know its origins. One is a solo scene and the other is played in pairs. Since the height of the puppeteers is an essential issue when working in pairs, we will do our best to match you!”

Nachruf
Wir trauern um unseren lieben Verbündeten Stephan Eberhard. Gemeinsam mit all jenen, die ihn kannten und mit ihm zusammengearbeitet haben, sind wir erschüttert und unendlich traurig. Wir vermissen ihn als Freund, als Künstler, als ganz besonderen Menschen. Seine Energie, seine liebevolle Aufmerksamkeit, seine Präsenz, seine Kreativität waren ein viel zu kurzes Geschenk.
Stephan war u.a. Teil der Hausproduktionen am Theater Stadelhofen - «Pinocchio», Ensemble de Dinge, 2018, und «Mortina – Untot, na und?» 2021. Seit 2022 spielte er bei «Pirat*innen» mit.

HÄNDE HOCH kommt ins Gespräch mit Künstler*innen der Szene der zeitgenössischen Puppenspielkunst über ihre individuellen Lebenswege - und Umwege. Denn nicht überall wo Puppe drinsteckt, stand vorher auch Puppe drauf...
Zu Gast bei HÄNDE HOCH ist diesmal Tim Sandweg, künstlerischer Leiter der Schaubude Berlin. Ein Netzwerker und Visionär des Zeitgenössischen Figuren- und Objekttheaters. Mit Roscha A. Säidow und Paul Enke spricht er über seine (Um-)Wege zur Puppe, über die freie Theaterszene Berlins und die Leitung eines freien Produktionszentrums. Tim Sandweg gibt Einblicke in Förderstrukturen und Spielplanentwicklung und spricht bei HÄNDE HOCH sowohl über seine kuratorische Arbeit als auch über aktuelle kulturpolitische Herausforderungen in Berlin.
